Job description

Minimum Experience: Less than 2 years (Entry level). No preference for additional qualifications.

Mission

We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and safety-conscious individual to support our onsite operations as a facility attendant. The role involves ensuring our Vehicle Fleet complies with Federal and State OSHA and CDC standards, maintaining the fleet's appearance, and representing our company to the community. Attention to detail and care for the fleet are vital.

Profile

Essential Functions / Responsibilities include:

1. Sweeps and mops floors and stairways.
2. Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials.
3. Makes rounds of buildings and grounds; inspects doors, windows, and locks.
4. Reports repairs, safety hazards, or external service needs.
5. Dusts blinds, furniture, and windowsills.
6. Assists with installation and maintenance of bus stop shelters.
7. Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies.
8. Washes walls, ceilings, and fixtures.
9. Cleans grounds and parking lots.
10. Loads/unloads supplies and moves heavy furniture.
11. Replaces light bulbs and fuses.
12. Performs ground maintenance as needed.
13. Polishes furniture and metalwork.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of janitorial methods, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• High school diploma or GED, valid North Carolina driver’s license.
• Strong safety, customer service, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment and share knowledge with others.

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
