Somerset Community College invites applications for a 2nd shift Facilities Worker II position on the Laurel Campus. Standard schedule is 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, with schedule subject to change based on day-to-day needs.

You will perform duties related to care, upkeep, and security of college property, including maintenance and cleaning of buildings and grounds. May lift up to 50 pounds; this is a 2nd shift position located on the Laurel Campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for college property including buildings and grounds.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Assist with security and safety of facilities.

To perform assigned duties relative to the care, upkeep, and security of college property, including all phases of maintenance and cleaning of buildings and grounds; other duties as assigned. May occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. This is a 2nd shift position located on the Laurel Campus.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, plus one year of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to minimum requirements, maintenance/custodial experience in a commercial setting preferred.
