Job summary

Somerset Community College, part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, is seeking a Facilities Worker II for the 2nd shift at the Somerset North Campus. The role runs 3 p.m.

to 11 p.m., Monday–Friday, on-site, with duties covering care, upkeep and security of college facilities. Minimum qualifications include a High school diploma or GED with one year of related experience; commercial maintenance/custodial experience is preferred.

Job Summary

To perform assigned duties relative to the care, upkeep, and security of college property, including all phases of maintenance and cleaning of buildings and grounds; other duties as assigned. May occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, plus one year of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to minimum requirements, maintenance/custodial experience in a commercial setting is preferred.
