Job summary
Perrigo in Covington, OH is seeking a Facilities & Utilities Engineer to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost‑effective operation of facility and utility systems. You will lead automation improvements, energy optimization, and RCA investigations, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will develop standards, SOPs, and preventive maintenance programs while supporting plant operations, emergencies, and shutdowns as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with industrial automation systems.
- Experience in FDA-regulated pharma, food, infant formula, consumer healthcare, or GMP manufacturing environments preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience utilizing CMMS and SAP PM.
Responsibilities
- Promote proactive safety culture and support site safety initiatives.
- Ensure utility systems support manufacturing requirements and product quality.
- Partner with Controls Engineer for facility and utility control systems including PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, BAS.
- Lead troubleshooting and RCA for facility and utility failures.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs with Maintenance and Reliability teams.
