Job summary

Perrigo is hiring a Facilities Engineer to support Allegan & Holland facilities. The role leads facility-related capital projects, manages budgets, timelines, and vendor coordination to ensure safe, cost-effective operations.

You will troubleshoot, optimize utilities, and drive cost reductions while maintaining quality and productivity. The candidate will oversee boilers, purified water, wastewater, and other critical systems, with substantial collaboration across departments to meet maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 10–15 years of experience in managing capital projects, with 5–7 years in pharmaceutical environments.
• Experience coordinating tradespersons and contractors.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and data gathering.
• Ability to write technical reports and develop data gathering schedules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility-related capital projects within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate support staff and contractors to meet maintenance and project goals.
• Provide guidance for maintenance activities and improve plant reliability and efficiency.
• Oversee main plant utility systems: boilers, purified water, wastewater, and fire protection.
