Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Tenant Coordinator for West Palm Beach, FL to support our off-campus portfolio. Working with in-house engineering staff and landlord representatives, you will facilitate repairs to lighting fixtures, furniture, and building systems.

You will perform floor inspections, recordkeeping, safety oversight, and coordinate repairs with contractors and vendors. This role requires strong communication and the ability to respond to after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• 3 years building maintenance experience in a residential or commercial building is required.
• General knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, air conditioning, heat and hot water is essential.
• Commercial building maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recordkeeping. Oversees the monitoring and maintenance of records.
• Safety. Identifies unsafe conditions in work areas and takes appropriate action to ensure safety of self and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Floor Inspections. Carries out daily floor and systems inspections.
• Office Maintenance Keeps offices and common areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Heat and Hot Water Systems. Monitors heat and hot water systems in off‑campus properties.
• Repairs. Directs repairs to appliances and fixtures.
• Work of Contractors. Monitors all work performed by outside contractors to ensure quality and completeness.
• Maintenance of Equipment /Supplies. Monitors maintenance of equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.
