Job summary

nLIGHT is seeking a Facilities Technician Security I/II to monitor the facility, support lobby security, and handle routine maintenance. You will respond to urgent issues, escort vendors, and maintain compliance with SDS and safety procedures while supporting after-hours needs.

The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, working shifts 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and reporting on security and facility events in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or security environment, with incident reporting demonstrated.
• Ability to operate access control and badge/visitor management systems.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building perimeter and security concerns, report incidents.
• Verify emergency doors are secured and compliant with procedures.
• Escort vendors and respond to work orders and urgent requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot basic equipment.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain safe, professional conduct.
