Job summary

Lad Lake, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to maintain safe and welcoming spaces across our Southeast Wisconsin campuses. You will tackle painting, plumbing, repairs, and general maintenance, serving as the go-to problem-solver for our buildings.

You will also identify hazards, operate maintenance equipment, and drive between campuses. The role includes supervising youth workers, supporting emergencies, and rotating on-call every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Working knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Familiarity with tools and safety procedures.
• Experience in maintenance or leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, repairs, and more.
• Serve as the go-to problem-solver for assigned buildings.
• Identify safety hazards and address them promptly.
• Operate and maintain day-to-day upkeep equipment.
• Drive between campuses and to local vendors as needed.
• Support and supervise youth workers with treatment plans in mind.
• Assist during emergencies and stay flexible to daily needs.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor and team.
• Be a calm, respectful role model for youth.
• Rotate on-call availability every other weekend.
