Job summary

Enjet Aero is seeking a Facilities Technician in Manchester, CT to perform cleaning and maintenance of shop equipment and facilities, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with service vendors. The role emphasizes safety and TPM tasks to keep equipment running and the building compliant.

You will inspect, service, and repair CNC cooling systems, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, maintain records, and support the safety team with ongoing improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Light electrical skills; basic knowledge of 120V, 220V; 480V a plus.
• Light plumbing; copper/steel/PVC; basic repairs incl. sinks/toilets.
• Light mechanical; minor machine repairs (belt/oil/filters).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Forklift operation and safety.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and have good physical stamina.
• Follow safety requirements and wear PPE.
• Think SAFETY at all times while performing duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain shop equipment and facility grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; coordinate with vendors as necessary.
• Tear down/overhaul CNC centers, mills and lathes.
• Prepare chip bins; maintain wastewater bins; TPM tasks.
• Maintain machine service records and TPM paperwork.
• Identify and report safety/maintenance issues to management.
• Keep tools clean and organized; assist with safety initiatives.
• Support facility operations to keep machines running smoothly.
