Job summary

ACMT INC in Manchester, CT is seeking an Aerospace MRO Operator responsible for hands-on inspection and repair of engine components in a fast-paced MRO environment. You will blend and epoxy-apply as required, read manuals, and follow approved data to ensure safe, high-quality repairs.

Work with engineers and quality technicians, document results in shop records, and participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to regulatory and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical school certification required.
• Experience in aerospace MRO or related precision technical work preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, drawings, and repair instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect engine parts to identify damage and repair requirements using proper measurement tools.
• Read, interpret, and apply information from engine manuals, technical instructions, service bulletins, and repair documents.
• Perform precision repairs such as blend repairs and epoxy application according to approved data and work instructions.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in repair execution to meet specifications and regulatory standards.
• Document inspection and repair results clearly in shop records and electronic systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality technicians, and fellow operators to resolve issues and ensure compliant repair processes.
• Work safely following regulatory, environmental, and company guidelines.
• Support cross-functional shop activities including staging, routing parts, tool maintenance, and basic assembly/disassembly.
• Participate in training programs to develop skills in inspection, repair methods, equipment operation, and quality procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the MRO environment.
