Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Facilities Technician for the Plano, TX onsite role. The position is a full-time contract (possible contract to hire) with a 12-month duration and first shift schedule (7:00 AM–4:30 PM Mon-Thu, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Fri).

Responsibilities include facility maintenance, trades work, and inspections. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with 1–2 years related experience, and may require

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/associate with 1-2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings, and specifications.
Requires knowledge of applicable standards or regulations, and may require specific trade certifications.
