Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Facilities Technician for a client in Plano, Texas. This is a full-time contract position (12 months) on-site with first-shift hours (Mon-Thurs 7:00 AM–4:30 PM and Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM).

The ideal candidate will maintain and repair the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, perform trades such as carpentry or painting, conduct routine inspections, and read blueprints. Certifications may be required; 4 years of experience or an associate degree with 1–2 years of

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of related experience, or 2 years post-secondary/Associates with 1–2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facility structure, equipment and grounds.
• Perform trades work such as carpentry or painting on structures.
• Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to prevent breakdowns.
• Read blueprints, sketches and layouts to plan work.
• Comply with applicable standards and potential trade certifications.
