Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience working in facilities maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests such as hot/cold issues, general plumbing, light carpentry work, basic electrical (not requiring license), piping repairs, lighting issues, and minor leaks.
• Assist with all general repairs, preventive maintenance, and construction projects.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Assist or perform the duties associated with events to include meeting setups and tear downs and spaces returned to their normal state.
• Provide backup services for meeting room AV needs.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to requests and emergencies promptly.
• Identify problems, make recommendations, and implement solutions.
• Maintain 24-hr availability for emergency calls.
• Work must be carried out in accordance with policies and procedures established for the facilities department.
• Other duties as assigned.
