GCM Medical and OEM, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Mechanic to install, maintain, and improve facility systems in a manufacturing environment in San Jose, California.

Under limited supervision, you will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure tasks, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with managers on major repairs. The role emphasizes safety, PPE usage, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience as facilities mechanic or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and work extended periods.
• Must be able to wear required PPE for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Install electrical conduit and compressed air lines.
• Install IT network cables to equipment and service lighting.
• Repair/maintain plumbing, doors, locks, and building infrastructure.
• Maintain HVAC components and ductwork; perform grounds maintenance as needed.
• Move heavy furniture and equipment; notify managers for major repairs or additions.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA compliance; work as part of a team.
