Job summary

Boviet Solar is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain building systems and infrastructure across its U.S. facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and execute repairs to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role requires hands-on work with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, using hand and power tools and measuring devices. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between locations are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with plumbing and general facility maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations.
• Preferred: CMMS experience, safety/compliance knowledge, HVAC or electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair facility equipment to minimize downtime caused by faults.
• Interpret blueprints, manuals and technical instructions to complete repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections and repairs.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to prioritize work orders and respond to emergencies.
