Job summary

UBJ Manufacturing in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Facility Technician to maintain a clean, safe facility and support maintenance and production operations. You will inventory parts, perform preventive and reactive maintenance, and assemble equipment for production use.

The role reports to the Facility Supervisor in a non-exempt, full-time capacity. Candidates should have 1–2 years in maintenance or warehouse environments and a high school diploma or GED. Knowledge of CMMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in maintenance, facility support, or inventory control preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility, including production, maintenance, and common areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned, following established schedules and work orders.
• Complete reactive maintenance work orders and repairs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Calibrates and certifies critical equipment using established practices and procedures.
• Organize, label, and inventory maintenance and production parts; ensure proper storage and tracking of tools, supplies, and spare components.
