Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, landscaping, and general maintenance.
• Knowledge of safe equipment and PPE, and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Valid driver''s license with at least three years of driving experience and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and grounds and address or report maintenance needs.
• Complete work orders and basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, lighting, and general maintenance.
• Maintain landscaping, grounds, irrigation systems, gardens, and athletic areas.
• Perform routine custodial duties, including floor and kitchen cleaning.
• Clean and vacuum the pool and monitor water levels.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown.
• Inspect fire extinguishers monthly and monitor designated equipment and utility areas.
• Maintain tools, equipment, shops, and storage areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Identify and report safety or security concerns.
• Assist with emergency drills and traffic control.
• Drive campus shuttles or vehicles as needed and when qualified.
• Check work communications and attend required meetings and training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
