Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and continuous operation of our facility infrastructure in Cayey, Puerto Rico. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and other building systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with facility maintenance, reading schematics/blueprints, and coordinating with contractors. Excellent safety awareness and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in facilities or industrial maintenance.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and compressed air.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and work order systems.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility systems.
• Monitor and maintain facility equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues promptly.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Support installation, relocation, and setup of equipment and infrastructure.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and identify improvements.
• Maintain facility grounds and production support spaces.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Support facility projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in spare parts management and inventories.
• Participate in audits and corrective actions.
