Color Factory is seeking a Facilities Technician to ensure the venue runs smoothly through routine and emergency maintenance. You will handle HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks while supporting exhibit installations and breakdowns, all within a safety-focused, guest-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous experience in facility maintenance, technical operations, or exhibit installation preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose facilities and exhibit issues efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• The Facilities Technician (FT) ensures the venue’s operational efficiency by executing routine and emergency maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
• This role supports exhibit installations and breakdowns, adheres to safety protocols, assists with custodial emergencies to maintain a clean environment, and conducts quality checks under the direction of Facilities Supervisors to ensure all maintenance and presentation standards are met.
