Job summary

Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain safe, clean facilities across all sites, including remote locations. The role supports day-to-day operations by responding to maintenance needs and completing work orders.

Travel to remote village communities by small plane may be required; independence and reliability are essential to meet quality and safety expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years in building maintenance, groundskeeping, carpentry, plumbing, and/or electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance to meet safety and quality standards.
• Inspects, repairs, and maintains floors, walls, ceilings; paints as needed.
• Do basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry; replace fixtures and components.
