Job summary

Little Creek Casino Resort seeks Facilities Technicians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems across the property. Roles progress from Technician I to III, with increasing skill, independence and leadership responsibilities.

Technicians support hotel, casino, and foodservice operations while adhering to high safety, quality and guest service standards, coordinating with contractors when required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of commercial building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Understanding of OSHA standards and safe work practices.
  • Experience in hospitality, gaming, or large facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple trades with moderate supervision.
  • Assist with construction, renovation, and remodel work across the property.
  • Lead or support complex remodels and capital projects as assigned.
  • Maintain CMMS records with labor, materials and work orders; ensure safety and guest service standards.
  • Ensure work meets codes and safety standards; coordinate with outside contractors when needed.

SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the General Foreman, Facilities Technicians install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and equipment throughout the property. This position supports operational continuity across hotel, casino, restaurants, and back-of-house environments while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and guest service.

Technician progression (I, II, and III) reflects increasing skill level, independence, technical expertise, and leadership responsibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technician I
  • Assist with general maintenance and repair activities as assigned.
  • Complete required maintenance documentation and CMMS entries.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on facility systems and equipment.
  • Support basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building maintenance tasks under supervision.
  • Assist with wastewater, boiler, HVAC, and refrigeration system maintenance as directed.
  • Perform interior and exterior facility upkeep including basic repairs and seasonal duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and operational standards.
  • Maintain guest service standards in all interactions.
  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling based on operational needs.
Technician II

Performs all duties of Technician I, plus:

  • Perform skilled maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment with moderate supervision.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve more complex maintenance issues across multiple systems.
  • Assist with and perform construction, renovation, and remodel work throughout the property.
  • Install and repair doors, hardware, framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and finish materials.
  • Perform FF&E installation and facility improvement work.
  • Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Support and monitor work performed by outside contractors as assigned.
  • Serve as backup support for other Facilities team members.
  • May assist in guiding or training Technician I team members in daily tasks.
  • Maintain accurate CMMS records including labor, materials, and work order updates.
Technician III

Performs all duties of Technician I and Technician II, plus:

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, renovation, and construction work across all building systems.
  • Serve as a senior technical resource and field lead for Facilities team members.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to Technician I and Technician II team members.
  • Lead or assist with complex remodels, capital projects, and facility improvement initiatives.
  • Perform advanced carpentry, framing, drywall, finish work, painting, and FF&E installation.
  • Diagnosing and repair complex issues involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural systems.
  • Perform advanced locksmith duties including key control, lock systems, and hardware installation/repair.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical specifications for project execution.
  • Assist with project planning including material estimates, sequencing, and job preparation.
  • May coordinate daily field activities in the absence of the General Foreman.
  • Ensure all work meets applicable codes, safety standards, and Tribal, state, and federal regulations.
  • Support CMMS data accuracy, including documentation of complex work and project activities.
  • Act as a role model for safety, quality workmanship, and guest service standards.
HOSPITALITY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform all duties in a manner that minimizes disruption to guests and operations.

S.I.G.E. TRIBAL - STATE COMPACT & ACCOUNTING & INTERNAL CONTROL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for Internal Control and Compact compliance regarding Casino Operations and ensure compliance with regulations of the Tribal Gaming Commission.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Technician III
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school, trade certification, or advanced apprenticeship completion strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or building systems operations required.
  • Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in multiple skilled trades, including construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, or related building systems.
  • Experience working in a lead, senior technician, or project lead capacity strongly preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality, gaming, healthcare, or large commercial facilities strongly preferred.
  • A combination of education, experience, certifications, and demonstrated advanced technical skills may be considered.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Class III Gaming License
  • Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred (Technician III preferred).
  • Forklift certification preferred.
Additional trade certifications preferred based on assignment.

Ability to complete the following training as required.

  • Forklift operation certificate
