Job summary

New Freedom is seeking a Facilities Technician II to maintain and repair a range of building systems on-site in Peoria/Phoenix, AZ. The role supports reliability, safety, and efficiency while mentoring junior technicians. Work hours are 6:30am–3:00pm, with one weekend day per week.

The position requires 2–4 years of facilities maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to perform routine repairs. Travel is occasional, and a collaborative team environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2–4 years in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Ability to independently perform routine and moderately complex repairs.
• Solid knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across facility systems.
• Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, lighting, flooring, doors, ceilings, and infrastructure.
• Carry out drywall repair, painting, texture work, and finishing projects.
• Manage work orders and facility maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Train and support Facilities Technician I team members.
