Job summary

EchoStar in Roseland, NJ, is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform routine maintenance, support office moves, and keep our campuses safe and operational. You will work with HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, lift up to 40 pounds, and respond to emergencies, with on-site collaboration across teams.

This role requires a GED/HS diploma and 6 months related experience; a valid driver's license; and on-call availability may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 6 months related maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate standard maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, office moves, and repairs on facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Maintain building and property through keeping it in clean and orderly condition.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and tools.
• Respond to facility-related emergencies and take appropriate action.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities.
