Job summary

Heartshare is looking for a Facilities Technician I to provide maintenance and repair services across their facilities in New York. The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, demonstrating strengths in plumbing, electrical work, and general building systems.

This hands-on role also includes supporting emergency response efforts and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. A valid NYS driver’s license is required, along with good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a relevant setting.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs for facilities independently.
• Lead and execute assigned jobs including planning and material purchasing.
• Respond to facility emergencies and maintain safety protocols.
