Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician II in Mesa, AZ to support maintenance and reliability of facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment. The role requires hands-on maintenance across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, with emphasis on proactive diagnosis and preventive work.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, major repairs, and collaboration with production, engineering, and management to minimize downtime while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or building maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience working on manufacturing equipment and facility support systems.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facility infrastructure, production equipment, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
• Install, modify, and maintain process piping, lighting, electrical distribution systems, and building controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with production teams to maximize equipment uptime and facility performance.
