Job summary

MSI Express, INC is seeking a Facilities Technician II to perform routine and preventive maintenance on our industrial facility's HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems. You will document activities, assist with contractor coordination, and train entry-level technicians while working with the maintenance supervisor to prioritize work orders and uphold

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a relevant trade preferred.
• 3–5 years of building maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Complete installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and report issues.
• Provide training and guidance to entry-level technicians.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and minimize disruption to operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
