Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Milwaukee seeks a Facility Mechanic II to perform general to intermediate facility repairs and cosmetic improvements across our plant facilities. You will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and support facilities engineering with design, installation, and fabrication tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma and 5+ years of industrial/mechanical experience, ability to read blueprints, and comfort using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of industrial/mechanical experience.
• Experience performing general facility repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to read floor plans, diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform general to intermediate facility repairs including paint, drywall, walls, floors, surfaces, doors and hardware.
• Support Facilities Engineering with design/installation/fabrication/demolition of new or remodeled areas.
• Read and understand general floor plans, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Perform basic facility preventive maintenance as needed.
• Escort vendors/contractors performing facility service calls.
• Document all work on work orders and maintain readiness for off-hours support.
