Hazard Community & Technical College is seeking a Facilities Worker II to support the Maintenance and Operations unit on the Hazard Campus, Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The role covers groundskeeping, custodial tasks, light maintenance, and event setup, with a high school degree and one year of related experience preferred. Review begins September 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• High School degree plus one year related experience.
• Experience with groundskeeping machinery preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
• This position requires outdoor work and on-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Groundskeeping including grass cutting and weeding.
• Custodial tasks: cleaning offices, bathrooms, classrooms, windows, floors.
• Light maintenance: minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Event set up and tear down for campus activities.
