Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) Columbus, OH seeks a Facilities Technician 2 to support building operations. You will monitor the facility, troubleshoot power and HVAC systems, and perform carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management as part of preventive maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently. Shift is 2:30pm–11:00pm, with opportunities for skill growth in building systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in maintenance or facilities support.
• Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and repair techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance.
• Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management.
• Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed to maintain optimal lighting conditions.
• Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, and equipment as requested to support operational needs.
