Kendal at Hanover, a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community in New Hampshire, is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician II to maintain and repair building systems for a safe environment for residents and staff. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule, with rotating call for weekends and holidays.

The candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, utilize CMMS for work orders, and participate in small facility projects.

Qualifikationen

• A technical education in HVAC/refrigeration, building systems, mechanical systems or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in HVAC, facilities maintenance, or building systems with knowledge of electrical/plumbing.
• Valid, unexpired driver's license and insurable under Kendal policy.
• Strong troubleshooting ability with complex mechanical systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to operate computers for building systems and documentation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies preferred (IR thermography, vibration analysis, ultrasound).

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, refrigeration and building systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment including air handlers, pumps, motors, valves and controls.
• Utilize predictive maintenance tools to identify issues and improve reliability.
• Operate and monitor building systems including BMS, HVAC controls, fire alarms and access control.
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs including lighting and fixtures.
• Conduct inspections, rounds and data collection; document in CMMS.
• Manage small to medium facility projects with planning and oversight.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent maintenance requests, and support security rounds.
