Job summary

CommUnityCare Health Centers seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician I to support clinics and offices under the Facilities Manager. Responsibilities include make-ready work, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical tasks in a team environment.

You will lead small projects, train junior technicians, coordinate supplies, and ensure safety standards and maintenance schedules are followed. A Texas Driver's License and OSHA 30-hour certification are required, with CHT certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience is required.
• Texas Class "C" Driver's License is required.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification within 1 year is required.
• CHT Certification within 2 years is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform make-ready tasks in offices and clinics, and carry out maintenance and repairs.
• Lead projects, order supplies, and call vendors.
• Train lower-level maintenance technicians in facilities skills.
• Troubleshoot power outages and electrical problems; replace light fixtures.
• Operate and train staff on power tools and equipment; drive vehicles as needed.
