Central Health is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I in Michigan to perform a range of maintenance tasks in office and clinical settings. The role involves painting, carpentry, light electrical and plumbing, equipment moves, and basic appliance work.
Team-focused and safety-conscious, you’ll support projects and contribute to reliable facility operations. You will work under the Facilities Manager and may train junior staff, troubleshoot minor issues, and assist with safety schedules
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Technician I will perform sub?journeyman work in a variety of maintenance, repair, and tasks in one or more craft areas. This position is responsible for make-ready duties in offices and clinic areas, maintenance and repair work of painting, carpentry (countertops, doors, framing, drywall), furniture & equipment moving, light plumbing, basic appliance repair/installation, and light electrical. The position requires the ability to work effectively with others and in a team environment as well as independently when needed, while always ensuring compliance with established safety standards and maintenance schedules.
