Job summary

Hendricks Commercial Properties, LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician I to perform maintenance on assigned properties, ensuring safety and aesthetic appeal. You will respond to maintenance calls and drive projects to keep facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.

You’ll work to own your work, impact communities, and support team members while maintaining attractive common areas and timely safety checks. This is a hands-on role in dynamic downtown offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge in building and grounds maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, contractors and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Full focus on aesthetics of a property or group of properties.
• Grounds/parking lot clean up.
• Verifies all lighting systems are operating properly.
• Attention to detail on cleanliness of entrances of tenant suites/spaces.
• Perform routine checks/sign offs of fire extinguishers and exit/emergency lights within the property(s).
• Snow/ice removal as necessary.
• Identifying any potential safety hazards on a property or group of properties.
• Maintaining landscapes/hardscapes within the property(s).
• Support for other Maintenance Technicians when necessary.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the shop/working areas.
