Hendricks Commercial Properties is seeking a Facilities Technician I to maintain properties, respond to maintenance requests, and keep spaces safe and appealing for tenants and visitors.

You will perform routine checks, light repairs, grounds care, and assist other technicians, while using Microsoft Office and Yardi to document work orders.

A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, US work authorization, and knowledge of building maintenance are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge in building and grounds maintenance.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, contractors and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Yardi or equivalent software experience.
• U.S. Work Authorization is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Full focus on aesthetics of a property or group of properties.
• Grounds/parking lot clean up.
• Verifies all lighting systems are operating properly.
• Attention to detail on cleanliness of entrances of tenant suites/spaces.
• Perform routine checks/sign offs of fire extinguishers and exit/emergency lights within the property(s).
• Snow/ice removal as necessary.
• Identifying any potential safety hazards on a property or group of properties.
• Maintaining landscapes/hardscapes within the property(s).
• Support for other Maintenance Technicians when necessary.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the shop/working areas.
