Job summary

The Facilities Technician I at Tohono O'odham Community College keeps campus buildings clean, safe, and welcoming. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between campus locations.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect restrooms, sinks, drinking fountains, microwaves, and refrigerators.
• Restock essential paper products and soap supplies.
• Perform routine interior cleaning, including dusting furniture, blinds, windows, mopping, and sweeping.
• Open/close campus buildings, ensuring doors, gates, lights, and HVAC systems are secured or turned off after hours.
• Maintain college grounds by sweeping sidewalks, chopping weeds, raking, and pruning to ensure presentable landscaping.
• Empty exterior trash receptacles twice weekly.
• Set up tables and chairs for college events and functions.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and manage supply inventory/procurement for assigned areas.
