Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform mechanical service calls and in-house repairs across our lab and office spaces. The role supports facilities and EHS teams, handling repairs, maintenance, installations, and special projects.

You will respond to help desk requests, assist with relocations, and work across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and lighting tasks. The position requires a high school diploma/associates, a valid driver's license, and basic

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Associate's degree.
Valid driver's license.
HVAC, electrical and plumbing proficiency.
Furniture repair and installation proficiency.
Knowledge of lab gas systems and equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Basic computer skills, MS Office.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented; able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

Respond to facilities help desk requests promptly with high service level.
Support relocations/reconfigurations, storage, and lab space setup.
Assist with internal employee and lab relocations.
Perform maintenance trades: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, lighting.
Assist with logistics for events and conference rooms.
Maintain and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
