Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform repairs and maintenance across plant and office facilities in Phoenix, AZ. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, and other trades, with responsibilities including inspections and documentation to regulatory standards.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience across painting, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair organization facilities and properties, addressing routine tasks and responsibilities.
• Repair appliances and equipment, service boilers, chillers, motors, fans, pumps and related mechanical equipment.
• Review maintenance records to identify recurring deficiencies and implement corrective maintenance.
• May troubleshoot and repair HVAC-related equipment.
• Will drive vehicle to other locations.
