Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
• Facility Maintenance Systems Technician certification or equivalent.
• NJ Low Pressure Black Seal Boiler license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and maintain HVAC, mechanical and building automation systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on air handlers, boilers, pumps and related equipment.
• Execute minor repairs (light bulbs, drywall, fixtures, hardware).
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using technical drawings and service manuals.
• Use computerized work order systems to track and manage maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and installations.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call after-hours support.
• Comply with safety and environmental regulations and participate in required training.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and maintain HVAC, mechanical and building automation systems
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on air handlers, boilers, pumps and related equipment

Physical Requirements

Work indoors/outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions. Work around moving machinery, in confined spaces, and on elevated surfaces. Use mechanical lifting equipment (forklifts, man-lifts) to manage loads. Work flexibly across various shifts and positions as tasks require.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Facility Maintenance Systems Technician certification (BOMI, SMRP, TPC or community college)
• Minimum 6+ years manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
• NJ Low Pressure Black Seal Boiler license

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA-10 certification
• Emergency response training

Pay Range

Pay Range: $26.72 - $42.98/Hour
