Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma is seeking a skilled maintenance worker to assist with preventive maintenance and repairs of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems across campus.

The role involves servicing refrigeration and building systems, with potential night or weekend work as needed. Candidates should have vocational training in related trades, plus physical ability for demanding tasks and a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of vocational or technical training school with training in refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical, mechanical or plumbing.
• Six months experience in one of the associated trades in the maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
• Ability to understand and implement oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to perform strenuous work requiring lifting weights up to 50 pounds, crawling, overhead work, kneeling, walking, and being on feet for extended periods of time.
• Possession of a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, heaters, ice-makers, air compressors, pneumatic controls, chilled water heating and cooling and electrical air conditioning and heating systems.
• Repairs building electrical systems.
• Services exposed water, gas, and sewer systems; checks building security and fire alarm.
• Performs minor service and maintenance on chemical water treating systems.
• May be required to work nights or weekends.
