Job summary

Compass Housing Alliance in Auburn, WA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain the agency’s assets across 20+ buildings in the Seattle-King County area. This full-time role requires reading, writing in English, and a minimum of 3 years in maintenance with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting skills.

Reports to Senior Facilities Manager and requires a WA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or facilities roles.
• Ability to perform repairs across building interiors and exteriors.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and agency standards.
• Valid WA driver's license required.
• Experience with basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Perform responsive repairs and preventative maintenance on interior and exterior building components.
• Respond to emergencies with sound judgment and safety-oriented practices.
• Assist with unit turns and office transitions, as needed.
• Maintain work orders, logs, receipts, and invoices.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and report defects promptly.
