Job summary

Mentor Technical Group in Carolina, PR is seeking a hands-on Handyperson to perform repair and maintenance tasks across facilities, ensuring safety and compliance. The role involves working under supervision, following instructions, and handling mechanical, electrical systems and equipment.

You should have a technical college degree preferred or at least a HS diploma with 2+ years of facilities experience; a PR driver's license and Pest Control knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical College Degree preferred.
• HS diploma with 2+ years of facilities experience required.
• PR driver's license required.
• Some knowledge of pest control.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations; assess risk.
• Perform general repair work on buildings, mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose problems and make recommendations.
• Repair and replace damaged parts and equipment such as sanitary devices and kitchen equipment.
• Read blueprints, floor plans and wiring diagrams.
• Assist with movement and reinstatement of equipment and fixtures on site.
• Ensure that supplies and equipment are moved safely and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
