Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC seeks a talented handyman to join our maintenance team, serving the Puerto Rico and USA manufacturing environments. The role involves green-area work, general facility upkeep, wiring, and preventive maintenance to keep equipment safe and efficient.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, handyman/woodworking/construction experience, and a valid heavy machinery license. Availability for all shifts is required; background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Handyman experience in carpentry and construction.
• License to operate heavy machinery (digger, aerial lift, scissor lift).
• Availability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of production agriculture and production plant operations.
• Background check and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work in green areas.
• Assist in maintenance of the warehouse, facilities and surroundings.
• Perform wiring and general maintenance projects.
• Plan or assist with preventative maintenance programs.
• Set machinery/equipment correctly to ensure minimum loss.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to eliminate hazards and damage.
• Repair, replace, reassemble, adjust, and test as needed.
• Assist with equipment installation and expansion/upgrade projects.
• Maintain heating/cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and wiring systems.
