Wallis and Baker is seeking a Facilities Technician/Groundskeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living environments across properties in the Wallis Collection. You will perform housekeeping tasks, basic maintenance, and grounds upkeep to support vibrant communities and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes independent work and teamwork, with attention to detail and a customer-service mindset, and may require flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemical storage.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication with residents and management.
• Basic maintenance knowledge (lighting, minor plumbing).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Wear company-provided uniform during working hours.

Responsabilités

• Perform thorough cleaning of common areas to maintain a pristine environment.
• Assist with new move-ins, ensuring units are clean and ready.
• Maintain amenity areas with dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and laundry facilities.
• Dispose of trash and recycling promptly.
• Perform basic maintenance like changing light bulbs and minor plumbing.
• Keep grounds, landscaping, and parking areas in good condition.
• Respond to resident requests and log service requests.
• Monitor property for safety hazards and report them.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Keep storerooms organized and safe.
• Learn and maintain pool systems per company standards.
• Report maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Uphold high cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
