Job summary

Billingsley Collection seeks a Facilities Technician/Grounds to maintain clean, safe living spaces across its properties in the Thousand Oaks area. You will perform housekeeping tasks, assist with move-ins, and handle basic maintenance while upholding high cleanliness standards.

The role involves outdoor grounds care, coordinating with management, and responding promptly to resident requests. A HS diploma and reliability are required; weekend/holiday shifts may be involved.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school education or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and chemical handling.
• Detail-oriented with strong cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of common areas (hallways, lobbies, community spaces).
• Assist with move-ins; prepare units for new tenants.
• Maintain amenity areas; dust, mop, vacuum as needed.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and laundry facilities.
• Dispose of trash/recycling promptly and organize waste areas.
• Basic maintenance such as changing bulbs and minor repairs.
• Keep grounds, landscaping, and parking areas in good condition.
• Address resident requests and report safety hazards promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
• Ensure storerooms meet safety standards.
• Learn and maintain pool systems per company standards.
• Report maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
