Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hotel/casino or 3 years of construction/maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good reading, writing, speaking and understanding of English.
• Ability to work well with co-workers and as a team.
• Availability to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Effective communication with guests.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical structure and grounds of the casino/hotel property in like-new condition.
• Utilize two-way radios, telephones, and maintenance equipment.
• Perform interior and exterior property maintenance including carpentry and painting.
• Complete maintenance requests promptly (bulbs, repairs, HVAC, equipment).
• Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry as needed.
• Perform room preventative maintenance to meet guest standards.
• Conduct exterior perimeter tours for debris and repairs.
• Check exterior lighting and irrigation periodically.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
