Job summary

The City of Aberdeen is seeking an Entry-Level Facility Worker for the City of Aberdeen Wastewater Treatment Plant. The role requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include landscaping, janitorial services, basic repairs, and equipment upkeep. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required. Prior maintenance experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and ensure quality workmanship on projects.
• Landscaping and grounds maintenance of assigned areas.
• Perform janitorial services as needed.
• Maintain lawn and power equipment.
• Perform general maintenance like cleaning, painting, grass cutting and minor repairs.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
