Job summary

ABM is seeking a Facilities Technician to support maintenance, cleaning, and light repairs at a building or site in the Los Angeles area. The role involves performing routine tasks, following safety procedures, and assisting with HVAC and electrical work as needed.

The position requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to report safety hazards or larger maintenance issues to a supervisor. A valid driver's license may be required, with weekly pay and a $27 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of maintenance, construction, mechanical, facilities, or HVAC-related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of restroom and breakroom plumbing fixtures.
• Clearing drains by plunger and hand-held auger.
• General labor including carrying, stacking, organizing materials, debris and trash removal.
