Job summary

Yakima Neighborhood Health Services seeks a skilled maintenance worker to join our facilities team. You will use power tools and hand tools to maintain clinic buildings and grounds, read blueprints and manuals, and diagnose issues to keep our sites safe and functional.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work independently or in a team, and a valid driver's license. You will perform repairs and routine maintenance to support uninterrupted patient care.

Qualifications

• Skilled with power and hand tools used for building and grounds tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals to diagnose issues.
• Experience maintaining clinic buildings and grounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify cleaning and repair needs of YNHS property and equipment.
• Perform repairs, installations, and replacements of furniture and fixtures.
• Maintain maintenance equipment in a clean, orderly manner.
• Be available for building and maintenance emergencies.
• General upkeep of grounds and buildings.
