Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is hiring an experienced Facilities Engineer to maintain building infrastructure, utility systems, and related equipment. You’ll support safety, reliability, and efficiency across the hospital campus in Yakima, WA.

The role requires high school diploma and trade training with 5+ years in building maintenance. Daily monitoring of systems, emergency response, and collaboration with leadership are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Building training and/or trade school education in specific pertinent fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all preventative maintenance assigned within the allotted time frame.
• Provides general building maintenance such as electrical, HVAC, boiler, plumbing repairs.
• Assists with smooth and efficient operation of the department.
• Maintains safety and quality in facility infrastructure and systems.
• Responds to emergencies involving utility failures, building, life safety, and security.
