Job summary

Mentor Technical Group in Puerto Rico is seeking a facilities technician to perform skilled repair work on buildings, mechanical and electrical systems. You will read blueprints, follow safety regulations, and assist in equipment movement on site.

A technical college degree is preferred, with a high school diploma and 2+ years of facilities experience as a minimum; PR driver’s license is required. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather, dirty and noisy environments, and lifting up

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2+ years of facilities experience.
• Technical college degree preferred.
• Valid PR driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work following Health and Safety regulations and assess risk.
• Perform general repair work on buildings, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose problems and make recommendations.
• Read blueprints, floor plans and wiring diagrams.
• Assist with movement and reinstatement of equipment on site.
• Assist in erection and dismantling of items, fittings and equipment.
• Ensure safe relocation of supplies and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education

Technical College Degree preferred
